On Tuesday the 7th of February OpenText presented the new capabilities and innovations included in version 23.1 that will enable businesses to empower their workforce through knowledge, accessing data securely and intelligently and scaling ecosystems through integration between applications.
The enhancements proposed in this new version of OpenText are focused on boosting businesses through the competitive advantage of having a good information structure and quick access to information.

- New citizen-focused services including the management of grants and permits, and the processing of complaints.

- Improved access, co-authoring and collaboration from a single source of information by integrating content with business processes in SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 and others.
- Improved integration with Microsoft 365 providing greater collaboration, application integration, compliance and security.
- Integrated solutions for Salesforce, SAP and Microsoft available through marketplaces and cloud resellers.
- Helps to simplify complex workflows thanks to integrations with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and PLM.
Improved Salesforce integration thanks to OpenText Core Capture
- 72% of sales representatives’ weekly time is spent on non-sales related tasks, and 8.8% of that time is spent manually entering information. With this data, the new OpenText Core Capture for Salesforce is launched and is fully integrated to automate intelligent document capture and mapping of data to Salesforce fields to optimise sales operations and customer service.
- OpenText Core Capture is available directly on the Salesforce AppExchange
Enhancements to accelerate cloud transformation
- Barriers to cloud adoption are removed with solutions that are easier to maintain, reliable and compliant with current regulations.
- Data decommissioning from SAP RISE with OpenText InfoArchive Cloud Edition is made easier as it is now available in the SAP Store itself
- Acquiring and accessing new OpenText solutions through app shops is simplified: Salesforce AppExchange, SAP Store and Microsoft AppSource.
Enhancements to OpenText Magellan Text Mining Studio
- Access to new algorithms and integration with pre-trained external models with larger datasets.
- Easier to create dashboards in Magellan’s own platform for better analysis of information.
- Feeling analysis extended to include empathy screening
- All the improvements implemented allow the preparation of more tailored responses to customers’ needs.
